As we prepare for our Christmas Shows and Services,

we are setting apart a week to pray and fast.

We truly believe that prayer makes all the difference — and when combined with fasting and intentional invitation, it opens the door for many to receive the greatest invitation of all: Jesus Himself.

“Intercession and thanksgiving

be made for all people.” — 1 TIMOTHY 2:1

To intercede is to hold the hand of people and the handof God and join them together in prayer.

Ask God to soften your heart for people; allow yourself to feel His tender heart of love for them. Write down their names.

Now, ask God to soften their hearts to be receptiveto the invitation of 'good news'. Name them.

HOW TO

Set aside extra time each day for prayer and some specific moments for fasting.

Read, meditate on and pray through the Scripture provided for that day.

Be intentional in praying for — and inviting — those around you.

There are no rules — only an invitation to draw closer to Him.
